Bausch+Ströbel have been ensuring this worldwide for many years already. For example with the filling and closing machines SFM 5110 and SFM 5072 for processing containers in nests, such as disposable syringes.
High process reliability combined with a compact design and optimal LF flooding enable fully-automatic filling and closing. Moreover, vacuum-assisted filling and stopper insertion allow for production of drugs in disposable syringes or cartridges with almost no trapped air.
Two dosing systems are available for the SFM. Dosing can either be performed using valveless rotary piston pumps, or alternatively, using peristaltic pumps. In order to save space, the peristaltic pumps consist of two pump heads each which guarantees an optimum dosing process for different products. The SFM can also be fitted with both systems.
